BR 1-10 Marie Antoinette

Stopping only to apologize for stepping on a guard's toe.  (p.63)

I had watched the movie about Marie Antoinette. She is very rich and wealthy, so she is very haughty. It was bad things, but I felt envious at her. She wasted money for her. I remember her line about " you could eat cake if you couldn't eat anything." All people of her country reproached her, but I thought she isn't bad woman because she apologized for stepping on a guard's toe.  I want to be like her, but I don't want to be killed.

BR 1-06 Florence Nightingale

Though she couldn't stop and speak to - or even smile at - everyone [p.44]

I like the story of Florence Nightingale since I read the book when I was 9 years old. I read it in Japanese. This time, I read in English, it was little more difficult than book of Japanese. But both of them, Nightingale was wonderful. She was very kind for everyone. I like her because she was always smile for everyone. So, I want to be like her. The other thing, I like her active. She nurse many people and she set up school of nurses. She was loved a lot of people. I can't be a nurse, but I want to be loved by around people like her.

BR 1-02 Anne Frank

I still believe that people are good at heart. [p.43]
A person who's happy will make others happy. [p.62]

I had't known about her until I read this book. I thought she was a very strong and nice woman. I have known about the Nazis aggression through movie videos. It was deeply affected by the movies. The reality was a terrible shock to me. But I was surprised to be a woman. She encouraged a lot of people, and she kept a dialy in the wretched environmant. I deeply remembered her message. We who lives now have to tell to desseudants, and we won't happen again. I want to be a woman as Anne Frank. I want to encourage people even if I tight myself.
